Held at the Road Safety Community Park on 7 November 2025, Ms. Sim Ann graced the Singapore Traffic Games 2025 where more than 200 students and teachers, along with about 100 invited guests, attended the finale, which marked the culmination of a year-long programme dedicated to instilling safe road habits among children through experiential learning and interactive education.
For Giti Tire, the event was a meaningful opportunity to reinforce its commitment to road safety education beyond its role as a global tire manufacturer, promoting road safety awareness among children and the community.
GitiGo! - Learning Safety Through Play
Children remain among the most vulnerable road users, with 197 traffic-related child injuries reported between January and September 2025 in Singapore. And as part of ongoing CSR and educational initiatives, Giti Tire proudly introduced GitiGo!, an educational road-safety board game developed in partnership with the SRSC and the Singapore Police Force (SPF).
Designed to nurture safer road habits among young learners, the board game transforms complex road-safety concepts into interactive, meaningful play that encourages collaboration, awareness, and empathy among students and within the community. By blending interactive play, role-based learning and facilitation, GitiGo! aims to move beyond imparting head knowledge to creating meaningful behavioural change, helping children and parents learn together through play.
“We are honoured to support this national initiative and contribute to the ongoing efforts to make our roads safer,” said Nik Goh, Sales and Marketing Manager for ASEAN, Oceania, and Sri Lanka.
“Beyond providing high-quality tires, Giti Tire is deeply committed to sharing practical road-safety knowledge with the community. Initiatives like the Singapore Traffic Games and our GitiGo! board game allows us to reach young learners early, helping build safer habits that last a lifetime.”
Global Recognition for Road Safety Commitment
The launch of GitiGo! is an example of why Giti Tire continues to gain recognition around the globe, with its most recent award from the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). Giti Tire was awarded a 3-Star rating under the FIA Road Safety Index at the NCAP25 World Congress in Shanghai. This milestone highlights Giti’s unwavering commitment to safety, sustainability, and corporate responsibility across its global operations from product development and supply chain management to community outreach.
Beyond the Singapore event, Giti Tire will continue to bring road-safety education into schools and communities across its global markets, aligning with the company’s broader vision of sustainable mobility and safer roads for everyone. By combining technical excellence in tires with meaningful social impact, Giti is driving safe mobility from the factory to the footpath.

Singapore Road Safety Council (SRSC)
The Singapore Road Safety Council (SRSC) was set up on 9 December 2009 by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), supported by the Ministry of Transport (MOT), Land Transport Authority (LTA) and other road safety-related stakeholders. The Council is self-funded through sponsorships and donations and is registered as an official entity with the Registry of Societies (ROS). The Council is also granted ‘Charity’ and ‘Institutions of Public Character (IPC)’ status for purposes of managing the sponsorship funds and donations.
